Kyle Paist

SNHU Environmental Science '24

Kyle is an undergrad studying Environmental Science student at Southern New Hampshire University with a concentration in natural resources and conservation. He does volunteer conservation work for the Connecticut Audubon Society at Deer Pond Farm monitoring bluebird and purple martin populations, and has also had the privilege of collecting data on Connecticut’s bats for DEEP’s bat monitoring program this summer. He hopes to attend grad school working at the intersection of microbiology and environmental stewardship, which is why he is so enthusiastic about the Tick Lab’s fantastic research and science communication efforts. What he loves most is talking to people and learning about their interests in plants, conservation, and everything else in the environmental field.
