JT Martin

WCSU Biology ’24

JT graduated from WCSU in Spring 2024 with a B.A. in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Philosophy. He is excited to join the WCSU Tickborne Disease and Prevention Laboratory (Tick Lab) for the first time this Summer under a grant-funded position as part of the New England Center of Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases (NEWVEC). At the lab, he will conduct field sampling to support our grad-student led research and collect data for Lyme disease ecology and prevention studies. He also works in the Lowes and Home Depot garden centers and outside of work, he loves to play basketball, garden, boulder, bake, cook, and snowboard.
